Last year we heard about Rovio’s intention to approach the social network with a version of Angry Birds but until now there was nothing clear enough. Think of it as a gift from Rovio, as you can now play Angry Birds straight from your Facebook account, with its own features. This means that you will need to create a Facebook account if you haven’t done so yet.
Angry Birds for Facebook is a flash based online game, that has all of the features from the iPhone version with a few extra goodies added by Rovio.

If we are to believe the Angry Birds developer, Rovio, these extra goodies take form in the game in four different power-ups, which you can access using the lightning bolt button (located somewhere at the top of your windows). The four new power-ups that you can use when you play Angry Birds on Facebook are super seeds, king sling, sling scope and birdquake. As you would expect from such a feature, the effect of these four power-ups vary quite a lot so you will have to discover what they exactly do as you can now play Angry Birds on Facebook.
If you will play against your Facebook friends, the four extra goodies will allow you to compete a lot better with them because your Angry Birds will be stronger and so on.
